VENDOR AGREEMENT
Kansas City Reggea Music & Jerk Festival 2024
Deadline for vending applications is September 5th, 2024
A $50 late fee will be due for applications received after deadline (no exceptions).
CHECK-IN & SET-UP
Food Vendors: Thursday, September 12th at 6:00pm
All Vendors: Friday, September 13th from 10:00am to 2:00pm
Please note: there will be no vehicles allowed on the festival grounds after 2:30pm.
TEAR-DOWN
Sunday, September 15th from 9:00pm to 11:30pm

- All vendor fees must be paid in advance. Applications that are not paid in full before the deadline will incur a late fee.
- There will be NO refund after the deadline.
- The Vending Coordinator must approve all vendor agreements.
- All vendor agreements must be paid in full, signed by the vending coordinator and presented at the time of check-in. (No exceptions.
- Food vendors must provide their own tent, tables, chairs, and electrical power (generators).
- The festival will provide string lights only.
- The vendor activity will not reflect or enhance political parties, candidates or political office holders.

KANSAS CITY, MO HEALTH DEPT. REQUIREMENT & INSPECTION PROTOCOL
- Person in-charge present
- Demonstration of knowledge
- Proper hygienic practices
- No eating, drinking, smoking in food prep area
- No bare-hand contact with ready-to-eat food
- Hand washing sink with soap and paper towels
- Employees wearing clean outer garments
- Employees wearing hair restraints
- Consumption ice separated from coolant ice
- Utensils/ice scoops with handles supplied
- Covered waste receptacle supplied
- Hot holding at 135F or above
- Steam table
- Cold holding at 41F or below
- Outdoor event: overhead protection
- Sanitizer: chlorine
- Test strips provided for measuring concentration of sanitizer
- Sanitizer and other chemicals stored separately from food
- Flooring is smooth, durable, easily cleanable, and non-absorbent
- Grill has hinged lid or overhead protection with screened slides
- Accurate/calibrated metal-stem thermometer supplied
- Coolers equipped with drains to empty melted ice
- Food and single-service items are stored at least 6" off the floor
